Faith Hope Love
That's what I live by.
Hebrew's says "... faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you cannot see." Hebrews 11:1
I live to be the HOPE for our future- the main reason I'm going to school to become a teacher. I want to be the face of hope for the generation to come. I want to show them LOVE like they've never experienced it before. Unconditional love.
BUT IS THIS ENOUGH? Is it enough to go to school, get a credential, start teaching and pray to make an impression in at least one child's life? Is that enough? Lately I've been feeling like I'm not enough- not a good enough friend, not a smart enough student, not a nice enough teacher, not a wise enough person. Just simply NOT ENOUGH. Where does it come from? I mean, I seem to get pretty good grades, I would do just about anything for my friends... I just want to know what "enough" really looks like... am I enough, but I just don't really know it? I have big dreams folks. Big, huge, life-changing dreams for myself, and for this generation. How do I put it all into the works? And IS IT ENOUGH....

Yes!!! Everything you do is enough! God is so pleased with you and He loves you just the way you are. These thoughts that you aren't enough or that your ideas, grades, dreams, etc. aren't enough is a LIE!!! God thinks you are amazing and that's what you need to focus on, everything else will fall into place. I know life doesn't always look the way we think it should but that's because God has a bigger and better plan then we do. Don't ever think you aren't enough, you are more than enough, you are amazing!!!
P.S. How's your back feeling? Do you still want to hook up one of these days?
You are amazing. I have never had the thought "hmm.. I think Emily could do more." Why? Because that is crazy talk. You do so much and I couldn't imagine not getting to see you each week. Don't buy into this lie.

Emily, you are absolutely enough!! And like Anna said, you having these doubts about yourself and your dreams ARE a lie. Anything to make you think less, or get you down, or doubt yourself are attacks from Satan. And you are a dynamic woman, so Satan is gonna be after you, my friend. And yes, reaching just ONE child, is enough...thats all we are called to do...reach one person at a time, how amazing!!
